Peter Lachniet

Mr. Peter Lachniet, aged 96, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 23, 2007. Peter was the founder and co-owner of Granco, Inc. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine, four brothers, one sister, and granddaughter, Debra Schuiling. He is survived by his children, Kenneth and Lavonne Lachniet, Phyllis Fridsma, Margaret and Henry Eefsting, Ronald and Judy Lachniet; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, sister, Minnie Tanis, and three sisters-in-law, Connie Vandenberg, Agnes Vandenberg, and Marian Lachniet. The family would like to thank everyone at Sheldon Meadows Living Center for the wonderful care that he received. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alan Arkema officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
