Peter Joseph Burbach, Jr., age 84, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Bangor, WI, May 15, 1939, the first of 6 children of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Nee: Turner) Burbach, Sr.

Peter proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard. On September 2, 1961, he was united in marriage to Barbara Shelmidine who preceded him in death December 18, 1989. On January 12, 1991, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Nee: Ebben) Brown. Peter was employed by American Motors Corp for 7 years, retiring from Twin Disc in 2001 after 35 years. He was a member of Racine Assembly of God and a devout Christian who enjoyed watching and listening to the Gaither Vocal Band. Peter was quoted “I love Jesus with all of my heart”. He also loved the outdoors, be it fishing, hunting elk and deer, yardwork or just fixing things around the house. Peter treasured the time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Patricia; children, Sherri Burbach, Todd (Lucy) Burbach, Sarah Brown, David (Janelle) Brown; grandchildren, Joshua (Sam), Rebecca, Lucas, Jacob, Samantha, Carter, and Gavin; siblings, Bonnie Leibrand, Michael Burbach, Rosie Miller, Susan Schaller, Cora (Patrick) Brynes; in-laws, Peter (Nancy) Ebben, Tim (Bonnie) Ebben, Gary (Terri) Ebben; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 11 am with Rev. Ed Walker officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior the service 10 am – 11 am. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Bangor, WI. Memorials to Racine Assembly of God for the HVAC Fund have been suggested.
