Peggy (Margaret) Echeverria

Surrounded by her loving family, Peggy (Margaret) Echeverria, age 75, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Becker-Shoop Center. Peggy was born in Duluth, MN, November 9, 1939, daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Nee: Lyons) O’Neill.

She was united in marriage to Rudolph C. Echeverria who preceded her in death. Peggy was employed for many years by Siena Center as a nurse’s aid. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, needlepoint, casinos, and the dog track. More than anything she was devoted to her family and cherished time spent with them.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Dino Echeverria, Gina (Todd) Koeshall, Sondra Echeverria, Randy (Nanette Redetzke) Echeverria, Joyele (Burt) Tabora, Della Palubicki (Dale Decker); many loving grandchildren, Phillip, Zachary, Chelsea, Tiffany, Samantha, John, Erik, Aaron, Katie, Erica, Heather, Adam, Robert, Falon, Paul, Kristy, Krystle, Shyanne, Marcus, Tyler, Travis, Joshua, and great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Delores) O’Neill; sisters, Gloria Ross, Kathy O’Neill; son-in-law, David Palubicki; special niece, Nikki O’Neill; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Tyrone; brothers, Patrick and Frank O’Neill; sister, Joyce Craft; special cousin, Beverly Lyons; and best friend, Charlotte Mastos.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Grace Church, 3626 Highway 31. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
