Obituary
Patricia Ruhstorfer, born May 29, 1935, a child of God, bought by the blood of Jesus Christ, who loved her and gave His life for her. On March 14, 2025, she momentarily left our arms and entered into the arms of her Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is no longer here. We will no longer see her precious, constant smile; hear her kind, soft voice; nor feel her loving hug or gentle pat on the cheek, because this earth, which is passing away, is not her home. Rather, her true home is in heaven, and that is where she is now. We look forward to the day when we will join her there, along with all those who have believed in Jesus as their Savior and have gone ahead of us.
Patricia was loved by all who knew her--no matter how long or how brief--because of the work Jesus had done in her life. She sacrificially gave of herself in more ways than can be counted, not in an effort to earn something from God but in gratitude for what He had done for her and us all. As wonderful a person as she was, she was still a sinner (as us all), but a sinner bought by grace. Her greatest desire was that her family and friends also trust in Jesus, and Him alone, as all who know her can attest to. There is much that could be said of her, but that is her eternal legacy. Patricia was the daughter of Thomas and Opal Dunithan, third of eleven siblings (Bob, Rose, Linda, Wanda, Ross, Dee, Rick, Garry, Vicky, and Randy); mother to Craig, Tim, Ted, Kathy, Tina, and David; grandmother to Eric, Matt, Amber, Anna, Esther, Hannah, Chavala, Seth, Nathan, and Rokhaya; and great-grandmother to many.
The memorial service will be held April 5, 2025 at Bible Baptist Church in Augusta, Michigan. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m.
