Patricia Johns

Patricia B. Johns of Kalamazoo, age 91, a Yooper at heart, died peacefully on September 26, 2020. Patricia loved playing cards, sports, traveling, friends, and her family. She was born in Wakefield, MI on August 22, 1929 to Gertrude (Purchase) and Roy Bedell. On March 24, 1951 Patricia married Milton W. Johns in Marquette, MI. They lived for a short time in Milwaukee, WI; spent over 25 years in Saginaw, MI; and eventually moved to Kalamazoo, MI in 1982. In 1990, Milton preceded her in death. Patricia is survived by their 3 children, Carol (Ron) Reid, Robert (Deborah) Johns, Daniel (Vicky) Johns; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her only sister, Jacqueline Gottwald of Milwaukee, WI, died earlier this year. Patricia's cremains will be interred with Milton at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
