Patricia J. Eppers

Patricia J. Eppers, age 87, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. Patricia was born in Racine, November 26, 1928, daughter of the late George and Agnes (Nee: Flanagan) Hemmingsen.

Patricia was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1947”. On May 20, 1950 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Clyde P. Eppers who preceded her in death, June 6, 1995. She was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Very artistically talented, Patricia enjoyed painting and creating all types of crafts. Above all she cherished time with her family and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, Debbie (Dennis) Bellgraph, David Eppers (Marie Gibson), Dawn (Don) Kuhns; her grandchildren, Jamie (Dave) Darge, Jessica Bellgraph, Casey (John) Miller, Shannon Lynaugh, Josh Eppers, Andrew Eppers, Ryan Stewart-Lynaugh, Matt (Ericka) Kuhns, Melissa Kuhns (Andy Aitkens); her great-grandchildren, Kelly, Aiden, Denessa, Carlyle, Isabella, Jayden, and Brienna; her great-great granddaughter, Skyler; brother-in-law, Jerry (Kathy) Eppers; close friends, Sylvia and Jackie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Veryl Hemmingsen, Mildred (Everett) Hansen; and brother-in-law, Leroy (Mary) Eppers.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 24, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. Catherine’s High School, St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, or the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
