Patricia Husband

Husband, Patricia S. 7/21/1929 - 5/21/2015 Adrian Patricia S. Husband, age 85 of Adrian, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Promedica Bixby Hospital. She was born July 21, 1929, in Kennett, Missouri, the only daughter of Kotz and Mattie (Cadle) Psalmonds. On May 14, 1955, Patricia was married to USAF Lt. Robert Husband in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and they were blessed with 60 years together. During those years, Patricia often served as a research associate as she and Robert travelled extensively throughout the world. Patricia worked as secretary to the Social Science Division at Adrian College for 20 years. After raising her family, she attended Adrian College, earning a Bachelor's Degree, cum laude in Early Childhood Development. Patricia was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Monday Literary Society and Civitan. She was also a former member of the State Line Gem and Mineral Society and the Lenawee Audubon Society. Patricia was known for her beautiful flower gardens. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by their children: David (Cindy) Husband of El Cajon, CA; Linda Psalmonds of Bandera, TX; and Suzanne Husband of Toledo; four grandchildren: Ted and Robert Husband, Crystal (Leonidas) Fiallos, and Robert (Danielle) Rowland, III; five great grandchildren: Jacob, Mackenzy, Damien, Amy and Robert IV; and her very close cousins, June, Joanne, Joy, Gail and Debbie. Her brothers, Joseph and Robert Psalmonds preceded her in death. Funeral services for Patricia will take place at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian, Michigan, with Rev. Drew Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Contributions in Patricia's memory may be made to Adrian College.
