Beeching, Naomi P. 11/18/1922 - 6/2/2017 Naomi P. Beeching - Lawrence, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the age of 94. She was born on November 18, 1922 in Lawrence, Michigan the daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Sutherby) Moses. She was united in marriage to Charles W. Beeching on October 31, 1939. He preceded her on September 23, 2009. Also preceding her were her parents, three brothers, Max, George and Jud Moses, and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Beeching. Naomi was a member of the East Arlington Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, organist and treasurer for many years. Naomi was a store clerk at M&M Foods in Lawrence, worked on the family farm and also at Adams Electronics in Bangor. Naomi enjoyed her summers in the Upper Peninsula where she spent time entertaining family and friends and discovering all that the U.P. had to offer. She loved family gatherings, gardening, making maple syrup and crossword puzzles. Naomi is survived by four children, William (Joyce) Beeching, Charles Beeching, Bonna (John Cady) Beeching and Bette (Richard) Kabat all of Lawrence, thirteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Warsko of Watervliet. Naomi's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, June 6 at the East Arlington Baptist Church in Lawrence and again from 1 to 2 P.M. on Wednesday prior to Noami's celebration of life service. Pastor Glen Cowles will officiate. Naomi will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hicks Cemetery in Arlington Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the church or to the hospice of your choice. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements.
