Purk, Nancy, J. Cooper Twp. Passed away Thursday November 19, 2015 at home. Nancy was born March 21, 1936 in Kalamazoo the daughter of James and Wave (Stratton) Teachout. She retired after 20 years at Meijer Gull Road. She was united in marriage to E. Roscoe Purk who preceded her in death in 1986. Surviving is a long-time companion James Schutter; daughter, Sherry(Harold) Fawley; son, Jerry (Lisa) Purk; five grandchildren, Andy (Amy) Fawley, Jordan (Whitney Meyer) Fawley, Corey Purk, Laura McCarty, Ryan McCarty; three sisters, Joyce (Joe) VanBruggen, Kay Longenecker, Barbara (Bill) Cobb; Many nieces, nephews & great-nieces & great-nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Diamond, Beverly Breithaupt, Patricia White; two brothers, James Richard Teachout, Robert Teachout. Friends are being received 4-8 pm Sunday November 22, 2015 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1 pm Monday. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of S/W Michigan.
