Gabrys, Nancy age 65 of Plainwell MI passed away on August 5, 2020 with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy graduated from Cass Tech in Detroit with a degree in Performing Arts and from the University of Michigan with a BS in both Biology and Dental Hygiene. Nancy will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Randall Gabrys, her daughter Kathryn Maxwell (Jake), and her precious grandchildren: Colin, Paige, and Grant. Nancy is also survived by her sisters Janet Humphrey (Dean) and Susan Aho (late Kenneth). Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dorothy Castator, her brother Clark, and her sister Gail. Nancy worked as a Dental Hygienist in Kalamazoo MI for 30 years. Her expertise, kindness and beautiful smile will be missed by many of her patients. Nancy loved gardening and her home surrounded by many varieties of beautiful flowers was a reflection of just that. Nancy also enjoyed reading books, and spending time with her rescue pets, a dog Rufus and two cats Kitka and Loki.
