Transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday evening May 24, 2020. Mykaila was born February 24, 1996 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Corey and Michelle (Jordan) Hayes. She is the eldest daughter of three children. She was a lifelong resident of Portage MI and was employed with Consumers Credit Union. Mykaila attended Portage Schools where she was a member of the cheer team. Mykaila loved taking pictures and started building a photography business by taking graduation, engagement and wedding photos. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord, and let his light shine through her for the world to see. She was a member of The Bridge Church in Portage MI. She was a dynamic person who loved life, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She brought joy to everyone she encountered. She was an encourager to her many friends and coworkers. Mykaila was loved by many friends and family. She is greatly missed but her legacy will live on in all of us. And her bright light will continue to shine within us. On October 24, 2017, she united in marriage to the love of her life Donald Lee Ramsdill. She recently became a mother and was so excited to raise their son Lincoln Lee Ramsdill. She is survived by her husband Donald Lee Ramsdill; son, Lincoln Lee Ramsdill; parents, Corey and Michelle (Jordan) Hayes; sister, Kiara S. Hayes of Portage MI; brother, Codey S. Hayes of Charlotte NC; parents in love, Ralph and Nancy Ramsdill; sister in love, Dawn Ramsdill of Portage MI; grandmothers, Dora Woods of Little Rock AR and Linda Thomas of West Bloomfield MI; grandfather, Jerryl (Loretta) Jordan of Sherwood AR and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private celebration will be held, and a public Memorial Service at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Fund.
