Mildred Sitar

Sitar, Mildred Kalamazoo Mildred L. "Millie" Sitar, 102, of Kalamazoo, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her home. She was born April 7, 1920 in Kalamazoo, daughter of Robert Bruce Terrell and Maude L. (Green) Terrell. Millie loved bowling in Kalamazoo in previous years, she also took pride in knitting, crocheting, making pottery items and working in her garden. On January 24, 1942, in Kalamazoo, she married Ralph John Sitar, Sr., who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Ralph John (Barbara) Sitar, Jr., two granddaughters, Shelley Hill and Stacey Sitar-Shelby; one grandson, David Sitar; one great granddaughter, Lauren Hill, along with several nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Gleason-Johnson, Donna Casper and June Cassada along with her brother, Robert Terrell. Millie will be placed to rest at Wildey Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Centrica Care Navigators or to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
