Michael Pattison

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Ross Pattison, 68, beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather. Mike passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024, in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Born on October 17, 1955, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mike was celebrated for his unwavering dedication to his family and his passion for baseball, history, and classic rock. He often said that music had died after 1973, and never missed an opportunity to remind us. Mike's vibrant spirit will forever be cherished by those who knew him. His empathetic nature and sharp sense of humor made him a beloved friend to many. Mike had a remarkable ability to bring joy, especially to his grandchildren. Whether taking them on rollercoaster rides or exploring new places, his playful antics always brought smiles and laughter, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Pattison; his parents-in-law, Robert and Mae Hoffmann; and his brother-in-law, William Hoffmann. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deb Pattison; his mother, Gladene Pattison; his sisters, Mary Town and Nancy Bird; his children, Amanda and Ross Pattison; and his grandchildren, Savannah and Lincoln.

Details regarding the Celebration of Life arrangements will be shared as soon as they are available. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the National Parks Service, an organization that was very near and dear to Mike's heart.
