Life Story / Obituary

Print

Missy passed away peacefully at Bronson Hospital on Saturday September 09,2017 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Missy was born on April 1st, 1980 to Larry and Rose (Adrianson) Hayes. Missy could never forget that day as it was April Fool's day, & her brother Larry always told her she was adopted. Even gave her fake adoption papers.

Missy was a fun loving daughter, sister, Mom ,aunt and friend. She would do anything to help anybody that needed it.

Missy loved being with kids, and she had even said that's probably why she got that kind of Leukemia. Usually only kids under the age of 21 get it. She said she was always a big kid.

Missy was in a terrible atv accident nine years ago, that the doctors said she would not make it and she proved them wrong. Missy went to Mary Free Bed for rehab from the accident. There they said she would never be able to walk again, and again she proved them wrong. Not even three months from when the accident happened she went home and raised her two beautiful children.

But on January 12th, 2017 She was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia.

Missy always said to stay positive. That's what she did all the way thru this awful painful disease.

Missy never gave up. Missy was still fighting on the day she passed away.

Missy worked part time at Start Elementary School. Missy loved working there because she loved being with kids.

Missy was a loving caring mom to her daughter Chasitie Hayes19, and Dylan Hayes 16.

Missy always went to the kids school, and sports events that they had going on.

Missy was a fun loving aunt to her nieces Sammy, Gabby, Cloe, and great niece Adelynne. Also to her nephew's Alan, Matt, Bradley, Andrew ,Kyle and Josh.

Missy's LOVE was Todd Babbitt. Which they have spent many years together raising two beautiful children that she was so proud of.

Other family members include her sister and best friend Amy (Hayes) Keith Holden, her brother Larry Hayes JR. Her sister-in-law Kim & Joey Chapman, brother-in-law Scott & Kathy Babbitt, in laws Edna & Ken Babbitt. Also aunt's and uncle's.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 13 @ 11am at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. For family and friends.

Donations can be made to go find me page for Missy Hayes to help with the final expenses.
