Maxine Steil

STEIL (STRICKLAND) - Maxine J. Steil, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, July 29, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Steil; her children, Carol Willson, Donna Jean Steil and William F. Steil; and her great granddaughter, Angel Lynne Snowdin. Maxine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Albert (Avis) Steil, Delores (David) Scully, Margaret (Walter) Krystiniak; her daughter-in-law Carol Steil; her nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; and her siblings, Florence Rozema, Bette Friskey, Hazel Campbell, Janet Lobdell, Fred (Marlene) Strickland, Ruth Robrahn, Dorothy (Dick) Stark. The family would like to thank Spectrum Health Hospital and Hospice for their compassionate care. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Maxine's family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Cook Funeral Home in Jenison, 1889 Baldwin St. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Cook Funeral Home in Jenison. Rev. Art Taylor will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
