Mary Martin

Mary Martina Martin Kalamazoo (nee Sullivan) passed away December 11th 2019 at the age of 67. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 3rd 1952, the daughter of the late Charles Sullivan and Elsie Oakland. She graduated from O'Brien High School and Nazareth College in Kalamazoo. Mary was a retired bar manager at Damon's Grill and loved how everyday her job allowed her to meet new people. Beloved wife of the late Michael Martin. Loving mother of Michael Paul Martin of Vicksburg and Bridget Elizabeth Martin of Singapore. Stepmother of Shaun Martin and Lisa Martin. Grandmother of Trae Michael Martin. Sister of Michael Sullivan, Kate Powell, Danny Sullivan (deceased) and Maggie Sullivan. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Mary was an adoring mother who believed her children were her greatest accomplishments. Mary was also an avid reader, golfer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends most notably Friday night dinners. She was nice to everyone who crossed her path and enjoyed making people smile. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sue's Loving Care in Kalamazoo, Michigan would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, December 18th at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish Church located at 421 Monroe St, Kalamazoo, MI 49006 from 10am until the funeral service at 11am.
