Marvin Allen Morgenson

Marvin Allen Morgenson, age 90, passed away March 22, 2024. Born in Franksville, Wisconsin on July 15, 1933, he was the son of Thomas. I. Morgenson and Ethyl M. (Cody) Morgenson.

Moving to Racine, he graduated from Washington Park High School in 1951. While attending Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois he served in the Reserve Officers Training Corp and was called to active duty in the US Navy. He served aboard the USS Tidewater during the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Joan B. Crawford. He continued his education, graduating from Marquette University in 1959. After graduation, he worked as a manager at Zahns Department Store for many years, and then worked as an accountant in the automobile industry, retiring in 2001.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan, his sisters, Beverly and Jean and his brother, Thomas. He is survived by his children: Sharon (Dave) Nehring, Steven, Susan (Stanley) Jardee and Thomas; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
