Martin "Marty" Campbell

Martin W. "Marty" Campbell, 79 years of age, passed away April 12, 2017 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo MI. Marty was born in Detroit, MI 7/6/1937 to the late Carlton and Marjorie (Martin) Campbell. Marty was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth (Mathis) Campbell and his brother, David Q. Campbell. Surviving are his brother, Paul (Carole) Campbell of Traverse City, MI and his children, Diane Campbell of Kalamazoo, MI, Karen (James) Cook of Tijuana, MX, Mark Campbell of Kalamazoo, MI, Michael (Mary) of Schoolcraft, MI, as well as nieces and nephews. Marty as he was known worked as a die setter for General Motors for 30 years. Most who knew Marty knew he loved good jokes, good stories, good movies, the northern woods, fishing and he had many fine memories of his travels with his brother David. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses Marty loved to share his beliefs with everyone whom he would meet. Memorial arrangements have been made for April 21st at 4:00p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7415 Oakland Dr., Portage, MI 49024 with Huston Turner officiating.
