Marjorie Brown

Brown, Marjorie L. 9/6/1950 - 8/15/2016 Kalamazoo Age 65, passed away on August 15, 2016. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on September 6, 1950, the daughter of William and Marjorie (Fletcher) Reynolds. Marjorie had a wonderful personality. She loved her family and her friends and leaves them with many memories to cherish. She worked hard to take care of her family, but also found time to give to others. She was a volunteer for the AWANA Program where she organized awards and other events. Marjorie was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and traveling. Above all she loved her family and was a proud "Nana" to her grandchildren and was also a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her smile and hugs will be missed. She is survived by her only son, David (Shannon) Baker; two grandchildren, Sophia and Alex; her mother; five siblings, Lila "Sue" (Phil) Witters, Darlene (Gerald) Best, Mark (Lois) Reynolds, Marianne Petersen and Julie (Gary) Hollanbaugh; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in passing by her father. A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 18, 2016, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, August 19, 2016, beginning at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
