Marjorie Bernice Lollar

Marjorie Bernice Lollar passed away peacefully on March 21st in Virginia with her daughter at her side.

She was born April 26, 1929 in Detroit to William and Dorothy Rowe, who were part of a large community from Cornwall, England. She married her beloved Harold in 1950. They raised three children, Thomas,(Stephen), Timothy (Eunhee) and Tammy (David).

For many years she was a secretary to the president of the Fetzer Broadcasting Corporation (CBS affiliate in Michigan). She and Harold were longtime members of Portage United Church of Christ in Michigan.

In 2005, she and Harold moved to Virginia to be near Tammy and her family. After 59 years of marriage, Harold died in 2009.

In addition to her children, she is survived by her two grandchildren, Eric and Maxwell.

Marjorie was a voracious reader and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandsons.

She also enjoyed the many visits with her cousins in England.

She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
