Margaret Stickel

Margaret Irene Stickel, age 88, of Portage, MI passed away Sunday morning, April 30, 2017. Margaret was born July 3, 1928 in Oshtemo, MI the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Flanagan) Raven. She was an active member of Berean Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting and various activities with the church. On March 1, 1946 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Robert Stickel Sr. who preceded her in death on August 5, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Stickel Jr.; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Stickel; son-in-law, Thomas Fabry; great-grandchild, Casey Stickel; and 4 brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Fabry, Kathleen (David) Gavitt; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, May 4 at Berean Baptist Church, 7813 South 12th Street. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 10:00-11:00am at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Berean Baptist Church. Langeland Family Funeral Homes
