On April 11, 1947, she married the love of her life Cornelius TenCate who preceded her in passing in 1996. She was also preceded in passing by a sister, Maxine Vliek. Margaret was a woman of faith whose character and values were based on the love of Jesus. Her greatest joy in life came from raising her three children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret's kind smile, warmth and love will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Robyn) TenCate, Timothy (Beverly) TenCate, Kathy (Douglas) Reenders; grandchildren, Timothy M. (Marisa) TenCate, Christopher (Hannah) TenCate, Benjamin (Emily) Reenders, Steven (Hannah) Reenders, Lauren Reenders; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Elizabeth, Joanna, Caroline, Charlotte TenCate and Owen Reenders; nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 11, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
