Margaret Bell

Margaret Aileen Peters Bell, age 90, of Galesburg, MI died on January 31, 2016. Margaret was born on September 9th, 1925, to Conway and Aileen (Cater) Peters in Marquette, Michigan. Her father was the director of the Northern Michigan University music department at the time. She was 90 years young when she left this world on January 31st, and was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Peters, step-mother Gertrude (Hawes) Peters, step-brother Lawrence Hawes and his wife, Gwen; several brothers and sisters-in-law, one nephew John, and two nieces; Mary, and Paula. She is survived by James, her devoted husband of 66 years, and four loving children; John (Deborah) Bell, Cathy (Paul) McClain, Sarah (Tom) Hildebrand, and Scott (Karen) Bell; nine grandchildren - Gayle (David) Barry, Joshua (Nancy) Bell, Peter (Dorothy) Bell, Drew (Chelsea) Bell, Matthew Bell, Colin (Anna) McClain, Katie McClain, Tara Bell, and Paige Bell, and seven great-grandchildren; Peter Jr., Mason, Adam, Sophia, Julia, Olivia, and Leala, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and private interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. A memorial service is being planned for a later date and time.
