Marcia Harness

Marcia L. Harness, age 65 of Lawton, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021. She was born September 14, 1956, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Louis and Marjorie (Bogema) Bill. Marcia was a 1974 graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. Until her retirement in 2010, she worked at The Upjohn Company, primarily in the receiving department. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, beachcombing, decorating, gardening, laughing with family and friends, all animals and her dog Minnie. Her family includes her daughter, Ashley (Jordan) Lynch; her grandchildren: Ellie and Thomas; her long time partner, Butch Taylor; her brothers Michael and Mark (Shannon) Bill; a sister-in-law Shelby Bill; a niece Katherine (Brad) Niemchick; a nephew Jacob (Brittany) Bill; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mitchell Bill and former husband, Randy Harness. A private celebration of life has been planned.
