"SHE WAS CALLED HOME”

With her loved ones by her side, Manuela Monge Lopez, age73, was called home on Friday August 12, 2016.

Manuela was the proud Mother of 11 children: Diana (José) Medina Valle, Maritza Medina, Weena (Roberto) Villarreal, Carlos (Myrna) Medina, Rudith (Juan) Echeveste, Nidia (Gamalier) Soto, Arelis Medina Monge "Brillo", Diberka (Sebastian) Morales, Limaris (Alejandro) Carrasco, loving grandmother of 23, awesome great-grandmother of 18, and blessed with 9 grand-kids-in-law.

"She was preceded in dead by her husband, Carlos Medina Forty, her sons Julio and Freddie Medina Monge and great-grandson Roberto Ricardo Villarreal.

She was a strong woman of God, a spiritual mother and grandmother to many, leader of mission and children's ministry as well as a prayer warrior. Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, hand crafts, baking, studying the Bible, and singing. She was also known for her play writing and play productions. She will be greatly missed, but we know we'll see her in heaven.

Funeral services will be held at Assembly of God Church, 1325 Airline Road, on Sunday August 14, 2016 with her daughter Weena Villarreal officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. and on Monday morning at the church at 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service before processing to Graceland Cemetery.
