Malcolm Houseman

Passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. Malcolm was born February 18, 1929 in Three Rivers, MI the son of William and Florence (Miller) Houseman. Prior to his retirement he was employed for over 20 years with Lumberman's Warehouse. Malcolm enjoyed camping with his favorite cat "Sam", fishing, and spending time with his family. On April 5, 1947 he was united in marriage to his loving wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Ferenc) who preceded him in death on April 11, 2004. He was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Doris, Merle, Galen, Joyce, William, and Bob. Malcolm is survived by his son, Joseph Houseman; grandchildren, Kevin Houseman, Joseph Jr. Houseman, Jodi Houseman; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jackie, Kimberly, Alarya, Alonya; brothers and sisters, Eldon Houseman, Mylan Houseman, Betty Slater, Thelma Porembiak; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A memorial service and private interment in Riverside Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Kalamazoo Senior Services.
