Lois Cowles

COWLES, LOIS Lois Edith (Solomon) Cowles was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 17, 1929 and died on November 12, 2021 with her loving family by her side. After graduating from Western Michigan University, Lois moved to Eaton Rapids for a teaching opportunity where she met Winfield Cowles. They were married on May 30, 1954 and the couple celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary before Winfield passed in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents CL and Edith Solomon, and siblings Vincent and Ann (Willsea). Along with her children Cheri (Roger) Harding and Sue (Ray) Kelch she is survived by grandchildren Lindsay (Jess) Harding, Hilary (Ruben) Montano; as well as great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
