Lois A. Fiegel, age 91, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Casa Del Mare, Kenosha. She was born in Racine, December 6, 1924, daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Nee: Leuck) Schroeder.

On August 5, 1944 she was united in marriage to Charles E. Fiegel who preceded her in death, March 26, 2015. Lois was a longtime member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering with Toys for Tots for over twenty-one years and also with Wheaton Franciscan X-ray Department. More than anything she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Thomas (Susan) Fiegel of MO, Paul (Therese) Fiegel, Nancy (Randy) Paulsen, all of Racine; her four grandchildren, Erik, Joseph, Benjamin, and Molly; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Fiegel; and brothers, Gerald (Dorothy) Schroeder, and Robert Schroeder.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 5, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green Street, with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Private entombment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church or to Hospice Alliance have been suggested.

A special thank you to the caregivers at Casa Del Mare and Hospice Alliance for their loving and compassionate care.
