Lewis Jones

Lewis Calvin Jones, age 83, of Paw Paw, MI passed away May 15, 2017. He was born in Salem Center Indiana on August 26, 1933 to the late Ralph and Florence (Butler) Jones. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Gawthrop) Jones, two sons, Christopher (Sandra) Jones and Cory (Rebekah) Jones, three grandchildren, Calen Jones, Alishia and Ashley Jones, one sister, Mary and sister in law, Ruby (late Ralph Edward) Jones. He was preceded in death by his sister Joylene and his brother, Ralph Edward. Lewis worked for many years at Eaton as a Tool Design Engineer, he later went to work for Parker-Hannifin where he worked until his recent retirement. In his free time, being hard-working and handy, Lewis found enjoyment in building things for his family and friends. He had a big heart and enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. When not working, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports and playing cards. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, from 4-6 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, cremation will follow. A dinner will be held following visitation at 6:30 p.m. at the Paw Paw Lions Club. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Paw Paw Lions Club.
