Leonard Schelb Jr. of Galesburg, age 67, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was born on July 24, 1950 in Kalamazoo, the son of Leonard A. Schelb Sr. and Serena (Layton) Schelb. Surviving are his daughter: Andrea (Mike) Jeanette; five grandchildren: Thomas, KayLeigh, Emma, Michael, and Aubrey; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; son: Leonard 'Lenny' Schelb III and three sisters: Cheryl (Linwood) Lawrence, Serena (Jim) Moyer and Deborah (Dale) Johnson. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Leonard's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Augusta Custer VFW Post #7956, 13540 W. M-96, Augusta.
