Lee Klingman

Lee passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2026. His father Joseph Klingman, Mother Francine Freud Klingman, and his brother preceded him in death.

Lee was born in Chicago. He was an insurance salesman and later a taxi driver. He married his wife, Emily P. Hoffman on August 12, 2018. He was a member of Congregation of Moses, where he and Emily met.

He was a graduate of University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor's Degree. He enjoyed cooking, taking care of Emily, photography and bird watching. He was active at Congregation of Moses, a regular at service, belonging to the Men's Club, and served on the Religious Affairs Committee. He had a unique sense of humor. He belonged to Moms Demand Action for Gun Safety, and Greater Kalamazoo Indivisible.

A funeral service for Lee will be held at Langeland Family Funeral Home 3926 S. 9th St. Kalamazoo, MI 49009 on Sunday, July 5 at 11 AM with a graveside service following at Jewish Riverside Cemetery.
