Kirk D. Bisko East Leroy, 55, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Kirk was born October 5, 1954, to William and Lena (Wolfe) Bisko. He grew up in Battle Creek and was a graduate of Harper Creek High School and then attended Michigan State University. He was employed as an Optician at Lansing Ophthalmology from 1980 to present. Horses were a passion of Kirk's since he was very young. He spent the better part of his life riding, training, teaching and showing. He shared his life love and passion with the love of his life Tia. The two built a highly successful training business which will always have his kind heart and gentle touch. Kirk's memory will live on in the hearts of all his students lives that he instilled with his passion and love for horses. His happiest moments were spent celebrating the victories of his horses and students as they succeeded in the ring and out. He is survived by his significant other Tia Zukowski of East Leroy; his mother, Lena "Katie" Bisko of Battle Creek and a brother, William Bisko, Jr. of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 26, 2010, at the funeral home with Pastor Kelly Hadlich of Battle Creek Friends Church officiating. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the North American Arabian Horse Association.
