Kenneth A. Nutter, age 84, of Allegan, MI passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Allegan. He was born January 28, 1932 in Kalamazoo the son of Allen and Alice (Lewis) Nutter. Ken served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. For 43 years he had worked at the James River Paper Mill. In his spare time Ken enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and board games. He was a dog lover and often volunteered to walk the dogs in his neighborhood. Ken was a member of the First Baptist Church of Otsego and the Otsego American Legion. On June 26, 1954 in Otsego he married Yvonne LaDuke who passed away in March 2016. Surviving are his children, Ken Nutter of Kalamazoo, Steve (Trisha) Nutter of Hopkins and Scott (Deb) Nutter of Allegan; 8 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Caitlin (Josh), Zachary, Lexi, Lindsey, Kaileigh (Chris), Danny (Jamie) and Aaron (Daggris); several great-grandchildren and brother, Earl Nutter. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Michelle Nutter and sister, Helen. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Otsego with Pastor Merlyn Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Ken may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Otsego American Legion. Winkel Funeral Home
