Hutchinson, Kenneth A. 6/27/1932 - 10/1/2021 Kalamazoo Kenneth went to be his Lord & Savior at Rose Arbor Hospice Care in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ken was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but lived a good share of his life in Richland, Michigan He was the son of Carol D. (Hutchinson) McNamara and Clarence P. Hutchinson, After graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1951 Ken served in the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged. "Hutch" as he was known, was the owner of B & H Appliance Sales and Service for 37 years. During that time he served as President of the Kalamazoo Small Business Owners Association. Ken enjoyed people and always had a story or two (or three or four). After the death of his first wife, MaryAnn, he married Aleta J. Rogers. They moved to Fairfield Glade, TN and remained there for 30 years. He was a member of the Fairfield Glade Baptist Church. He proudly served on the volunteer fire department in "the Glade" for 17 years. In 2017 they moved back to the Portage/Kalamazoo area to be near family where they resided until his death. Ken had a beautiful bass singing voice and sang in a gospel quartet in Tennessee. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, coaching Little League in Richland and golfing securing a hole in one in his retirement. He was preceded in death by his first wife MaryAnn, sons Mark and David, sisters Gloria Blaisdell and FloRose Thomas,. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Aleta J, daughter Debra (Greg) Carpenter, 2 grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place serviced by the Neptune Society. A private internment will occur at a late date. At Ken's request donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation,
