Kelly Brady

Kelly John Brady, age 63, passed away suddenly August 12, 2021 at his residence in Kalamazoo, MI. Kelly was born November 28, 1957 in Kalamazoo, the son of John "Jack" and Linda (DeBruyn) Brady. He was a graduate of Portage Central High School and through out the years was employed by several manufacturing businesses including Kalamazoo Stamp & Die, Schupan and Arvco. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and was an avid Michigan fan, Detroit Tiger and Lions fan. The most important part of Kelly's life was spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his siblings Dan (Dawn) Brady, Sean Brady, Tammy (Todd) Lipschultz, Kathy Roquemore and Maureen Berger (Mark Chicoine); sister-in-law Laurie Brady; numerous nieces and nephews; Kelly's longtime girlfriend Sheila Rothwell and her family Rachel (Josh) Sills, Eric (Christine) Borst and 3 grandchildren. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Linda Brady; his brother Kevin Brady; and a sister-in-law Crisi Brady. In accordance with Kelly's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, August 20th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 411 E. Centre St., Portage, MI 49002. Memorials in Kelly's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
