June Minnema age 96, of Holland, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at an area care center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1982.
June was a member of New Community- Fourth Reformed Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and a member of the Loyal Class and afternoon women’s circle. She also worked with her husband, George, and son, Robert, in Warm Friend Flowers.
She is survived by her, son, Robert D. Minnema Sr. of Holland, MI; Daughter, Beverly J. Mannes of Tiger, GA; Grandsons, Robert D. Minnema Jr. (Dean) of Holland, MI, Tad & Shelly Mannes of Lawrenceville, GA, Clarke Minnema of Holland, MI, Kurt Minnema of Holland, MI; Granddaugh-ter, Kimberly & Brian Gilkison of Union, SC; Great Grandchildren, Kathryn Mannes of Lawrenceville, GA, Charles Mannes of Union, SC, Wesley Mannes of Union, SC, Derrick Minnema of Holland, MI, Patrick Minnema of Holland, MI, Brian Gilkison Jr., of Union SC, David Gilkison of Union, SC Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at New Community Fourth Reformed Church, 238 W. 15th St. Holland with Rev. Jonathan Brownson officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
