She retired in 1990 and that began a yearly summer trip with her daughter Kerry. They enjoyed some great trips hitting places that they had not planned on visiting due to only using AAA trip tics. (Before GPS). When Richard retired in 1991 this started their love of RVing, visiting many places with the Winnebago RV Club. This also began their wintering in Ranchero Village Park, Weslaco, TX. In 2004 Kerry and Ken joined them every winter. In 2013 Richard and June decided to give up the RV life and settled down in Texas full time. June was very friendly and always had a smile. She loved her knitting club, the ceramics studio, Red Hat Outings and most of all shopping trips with Kerry and close friend Jan Murphy (2nd.daughter who also wintered with them).
