Judy Lee (Bollinger) Brewer, age 76, of Schoolcraft, was born on November 19, 1947, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Lee and Esther Bollinger, and went home to the Lord on May 12, 2024. She married Bill Brewer of North Adams, Michigan, on May 12, 1967. Judy graduated from Jackson Business College and held administrative assistant positions at various Kalamazoo businesses, including Victor Plastics and PMS properties. She retired from administrative work in 2000 to be a proud full-time grandma, which was her favorite job. She spent her life serving her family, her church, and her community. She welcomed new families to the Kalamazoo area as a representative for the Newcomer's Association and was very active in her church as president of the altar guild and a longtime volunteer for vacation bible school programs. Judy had a passion for creating, both in the kitchen and artistically. She loved quilting, baking, creating jewelry, gardening, and she completed thousands of puzzles. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing with her husband and friends. Judy leaves behind her husband, Bill Brewer, her son, Steve Brewer, her daughter-in-law, Peggy Brewer, and her two beloved granddaughters, Rachael (Nick Jasiak) and Allyson Brewer. She is also survived by her older brother, Ken (Pam) Bollinger, and younger siblings, Ron (Carolyn) Bollinger, Nelson Bollinger, Debbie (Ben) Strong, and Kent (Bobbie) Bollinger, as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Esther Bollinger, and her younger brother, Neil Bollinger. Judy was many things: a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a friend, and she was the matriarch of the Bollinger family. She, along with her older brother, were and are the glue that holds the family together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
