Judy (Julia Baas) Sikkema

SIKKEMA - Judy (Julia Baas) Sikkema, aged 86, of Hudsonville, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009, and went to be with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry on May 13, 2009; her brothers-in-law, Adrian Deurloo and Jay Sikkema; her sister-in-law, Gladys Sikkema. She is survived by her loving family; her children, Doug and Bonnie Sikkema of Hudsonville, Keith and Rose Sikkema of Grandville, Randy and Heidi Sikkema of Hartford, WI; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Alma Deurloo; in-laws, Betty and Bill Van Houten, Elmer Sikkema, Erwin Sikkema, Jo Sikkema; many nieces and nephews. Funeral and committal services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Zutphen Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Josh Van Drunen officiating. Interment Zutphen Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home Monday 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
