Judy Cooper

Formerly from Vicksburg Mi. left this life on Thursday July 5, 2018. She was born to John and Pearl Retherford in the Plainwell area. She attended Plainwell schools, she worked for many years and eventually retired from the Jewel Food Co. in Portage, Mi. She had 53 years of marriage with her husband Sam, she was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Eagles clubs. Preceeding her in death were her parents, a son Doug and siblings Bob, Marv, Carl, Wanda, Velma, Thelma and Shirley. Surviving are her sister Bonnie (Brian) Jolicoeur, her husband Sam, their son Rod (Tonya) and their children Audrey, Sophie, Lexi and Doug's children Alicia, Cara and Kemi. She was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply and sadly missed by all. A creamation has taken place and there will be a celebration of her life to be announced at a later date.
