Joseph "Joey" Lenk Jr.

LENK, JOSEPH M. "JOEY", JR. Joseph M. "Joey" Lenk, Jr., 80, of Grandville, died peacefully on October 7, 2013, after a long illness. He will be missed by his wife, Beverly (McCauley) Lenk; his children, Karen Lenk (Ray) Cheydleur, Steve (Janet) Lenk, Linda Lenk, Kathleen Lenk, Kristia King (Paul) Cnossen, Marci King (Dave) Hammond; sisters, Gloria Lenk Galloway, Marjorie Lenk Hollish; 11 grandchildren; and his favorite walking companion, Mackie. Joey was born in Akron, OH, graduating in 1955 from the University of Akron, then received a Masters degree from Mankato State University (MN). Joey was involved in many organizations and particularly enjoyed mentoring others. He will be remembered especially for his love of golf and all sports, and his fabulous game room where he loved to entertain. A private memorial service celebrating Joey's life will be held at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf, 4145 Chicago Drive in Grandville. Contributions can be sent to a charity of your choice .
