Joseph J. Pribyl Jr.

Joseph John Pribyl Jr., age 59. Passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 30, 2016, following a short battle with cancer. Joe was born in Racine, March 7, 1957, the 5th child and only son of the late Joseph and Mary (Nee: Kupper) Pribyl.

Joe graduated from Wm. Horlick High School, “Class of 1975”. He retired from the City of Racine where he was employed for over thirty years and belonged to the City of Racine Twenty Year Club. Joe had a passion for electronics, remote control helicopters, and building models. To his family he was known as “Joe Fix” as he could fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a beloved brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his sisters Judith A. Packer of Milwaukee, Nancy (Paul) Willing of Racine, Barbara (Ron) Zielinski of Racine, Mary (Ken) Bissett of Poynette; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green Street with Reverend Steve Varghese officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet Friday at church, 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 11 AM Memorial to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
