Passed away on Saturday evening, February 26, 2022. Jon was born in Kalamazoo on September 17, 1965, the son of Wayne E. and Joyce (Keast) Pountain. Jon is survived by his mother, Joyce Pountain; siblings, Deanna (Mike) Shumaker, Sandra (Hugh) Davis, Gary (Miriam) Pountain, Michael Pountain, Brenda (David) Hill and Carla (Brian) Davis; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Jon was preceded in death by his father. A party to honor Jon's life will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Portage Eagles, 11611 Shaver Rd, Schoolcraft.
