Jon Gerard Duchac, age 65, passed away, with his family by his side at his residence, Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was born in Racine, November 7, 1958, son of the late William and Stella (Nee: Resch) Duchac.

On July 5, 1981, Jon was united in marriage to Foulla Paros. Jon owned and operated Atlantis Family Restaurant, until his retirement. He was a member of the Kimissis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church and the Grove Club. Jon was musically inclined, he played the organ, piano, guitar and loved to sing. He also had a flair for writing and storytelling. He also was an avid Racine Raiders fan. It was time that he spent with his family that he cherished most.

Jon was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his wife Foulla, of 42 years; sons, John D. Duchac, Nectarios G. Duchac and Gregory M. Duchac; siblings: Mike Duchac, Scott (Sue) Duchac, Joseph (Kathy) Duchac, David (Nancy) Duchac, Colleen (Jerry) Jossart, Tom Duchac; sisters-in-law, Rena Paros, Noulli (Athanasios) Oikonomou; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Mark Duchac, Timothy Duchac, Theodore (Jane ) Duchac, Patrick (Debbie) Duchac; sister, Rosemary (James) Patch.

A funeral service celebrating Jon’s life will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 11:00 am, at Kimissis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 1335 South Green Bay Road, with Rev. John Ketchum officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation Wednesday, 10:00 am until time of service at the church. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
