Mr. John Carl deBlecourt, aged 49, of Wyoming MI, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in his home. He was a material planner having worked for 18 1/2 years with Hayworth, Inc. in Holland, Michigan. He was born October 13, 1957 in Terre Haute to John H. deBlecourt and Josephine Becking deBlecourt. He is survived by his wife, Catherine "Cate" Weust deBlecourt whom he married December 27, 1980; one son, Jack deBlecourt; one daughter, Kelli deBlecourt; his father, John H. deBlecourt and his wife, Kin; three brothers, Leo deBlecourt of Westfield, IN, Ed deBlecourt and his wife, Laura, of Terre Haute and Lou deBlecourt of Sykesville, MD; one sister, Joni Whelen and her husband, Robert of Melborne, FL; his mother-in-law, Margaret Weust; three brothers-in-law, Kevin Weust and his wife, Jan, John Weust and his wife, Molly, and Greg Weust; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. John was a 1976 graduate of Schulte High School and a 1983 graduate of Indiana State University. He was a member of the NRA and he loved hunting, fishing and shooting. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping at Sandy Pines. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Becking deBlecourt; his father-in-law, Jack Weust; and a sister-in-law, Sharon deBlecourt. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 19, 2007 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, with Father Joel Burget officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with a Rosary Service to be held at 7:00 p.m.. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John deBlecourt Children College Fund which may be made at any First Financial Banking Center.
