John Bonk, aged 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away January 11, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Floyd Bonk and sister, Elaine Hayes. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Sue; children, John Thomas (Debora) Bonk, Thomas Allan (Marcella) Bonk; seven grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Doris) Bonk. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. NE. Friends and relatives may greet the family one hour prior to the service.
