Passed away Tuesday evening, Sep. 19, 2005, at Upjohn Community Nursing Center. Mrs. Vos was born in Kalamazoo, July 2, 1907, the daughter of Kryn & Dimmetje (Peekstok) Kievit. She was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church. On July 3, 1935, she married Cornelis Vos, who preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1990. Surviving are two sons, William (Wilma) Vos of Grundy Center, IA, and Kryn (Phyllis) Vos of Portage; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her sister, Adriana Kievit of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, anatomical donation has been made to the University of Michigan and no services or visitation will be held.
