Johanna Adams

Adams, Johanna R. Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday morning, October 27, 2016. Johanna was born November 13, 1916 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Andrew and Regina (Hoppe) Stam and had been a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and collecting antique dolls. On June 6, 1941 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Jerry Adams who preceded her in death on March 29, 1999. Johanna was also preceded in death by her brother, John; and sister-in-law, Emma. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Adams, Paul (Barbara) Adams; 2 grandchildren, Paulette Rieger, Christina Adams; 4 great-grandchildren, Zak, Alex, Nick, and Ben; and a great-great grandson, Anthony. The family would like to thank the staff of Gull Arbor Senior Living for their loving care. There will be no visitation or services. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
