Jilayne Lesman-Mort

Lesman-Mort, Jilayne Marie 63 of Comstock went to her heavenly home on January 5, 2021. Jilayne graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1976. She was employeed by WDP corporation. She enjoyed traveling, going to garage sales, flea markets and enjoyed spending time with her family. She gave the best hugs and had an infectious laugh. Jilayne never met a stranger and was generous and kind to everyone. Jilayne was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and sister; she is survived by her husband Mark Mort; stepdaughters; Katy (Ronak) Upadhyaya of Fullerton, CA, Amy Mort of Kalamazoo, MI, stepson Nathan Mort of Portland, OR, grandchildren Veer & Shaan Upadhyaya and Wyspr Mort. Her brothers: Jim (Linda) Porlier, Jack (Kimberly) Porlier; Her cousin; Joe Jaques Nephews; Michael (Kara) Porlier, Justin (Stephanie) Porlier, Jordan (Rene) Porlier and her niece Mindy (Jeff) Middleton. Four great nieces and three great nephews. Preceded in death by; her Mother Virginia Lesman, Father Ben Lesman and Sister June (Cissy) Lesman. Her husband Mark would like to thank everyone for thoughts and prayers during her short illness. Jilayne will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life announcement will be in the summer.
