Genevieve "Jean" Dyszkiewicz of Kalamazoo, MI, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away December 10, 2021. She was born to Blanche and Alex Buziak in South Bend on December 28, 1923. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Dyszkiewicz, her brothers, Bernard, Clement and Valentine. Genevieve married Walter Dyszkiewicz on July 22, 1946. She is survived by her sister, Rita Tarr and brother, Chester (Maria) Buziak; her two sons, Carl (Jane) Dyszkiewicz of San Diego, CA and Paul (Pat) Dyszkiewicz of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Palmer, Karen (James) Atkinson, Christopher (Jessica) Dyszkiewicz, and Julie (Jay Derby) Dyszkiewicz; great-grandchildren, Andrew & Ben Palmer; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 9-10:30am on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, Mayflower Rd. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Entombment follows at St. Joseph Cemetery. Special appreciation to Rose Arbor Hospice for the loving care given to Genevieve during her final days.
